🐾 Cato 🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Cato! This friendly 13 year old German shepherd in traditional black and brown with a creamy belly is sharp, familiar with basic commands, and loves attention! The crew love his excitement when we arrive to care for him and his little doggo brother. Scroll on to share the great energy with Cato!

We love visiting Cato and his Corgi brother Finn! Their owners have chosen our 30 minute home visit, providing potty break time while they're away from home. Cato's needs are simpler in his golden years, so he doesn't need to go for a walk. He's fortunate to have lots of yard space, one area that's just for the dogs to do their business and another larger space to explore and play with Finn and our crew. Nathaniel, Alex, and Maura have been lucky enough to spend the most time with Cato recently.

Aside from time in the dog yard for potty, they head to the back yard for more fresh air, sniffing, and chase and catch a ball. Cato can also be found chawing contentedly on a stick, often because his little brother is so quick to catch the ball! He gets some one-on-one toss time as well. They have us cracking up with Finn also photo-bombing!! Inside, he enjoys some friendly pets from the crew. We feed him by just keeping his bowl full as Cato likes to graze, and top off the water bowl too. They are kept safe and secure with baby gates.
