🐾 Ellie 🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Ellie! This soft and fluffy Cavalier King Charles is sporting a lovely Ruby coat with white accents. She absolutely loves people and sunshine too! Little Miss Ellie Belly greets us for every visit by asking so sweetly for belly rubs. Get down on her level by scrolling for more Ellie!

Ellie's owners have chosen a great fit with our 15-20 minute stop in visit . She doesn't require feeding in the middle of the day, but is happy to take a couple of treats. Ellie is also pretty good at drinking her water, so she definitely gets a refreshed water dish too. Primarily we let Miss Ellie outside to do her potty business and everything else is love and pets! Heather, Jessie, and Lucia have the privilege of seeing her most frequently and have paid many a "tummy tax" at these lovely visits!

We just adore Ellie with her sweet face and demeanor. Her breed is one with brachycephalic traits, meaning her face and snoot is quite short or pushed in. Internally, this can mean a dog can have breathing difficulties or overheat more easily than other breeds, so we use caution when it starts to heat up. I didn't think Ellie ever got the message though because she could probably exist on sunshine alone!! Seeing her means receiving all of that energy she brings to our visits. Tummy tax is paid with enthusiasm!
