Put your paws together to celebrate our Pet of the Week, Sydney! This irresistably cute little pup is a 7 year old black and white rescue, possibly Rat Terrier. She immediately won our hearts with her personality and love of her humans and her toys, too. She often greets us at the door with a toy in her mouth, tail wagging, so excited for company. Our crew has the pleasure of visiting and caring for Sydney when her folks are out of town and her additional caretaker is at work during the day. She usually enjoys a 30 Minute home visit in the morning and the afternoon for potty time and a walk, which she adores! We shower her with affection, engage her in playtime, and dole out little treats. Suzi, Jessie, and Lucia have had the chance to get to know her the best.

When Sydney is done with her walk, she likes a variety of fun things: exploring the fenced-in backyard, enjoying getting a little more sun on the deck, playing, and finally relaxing on the couch with some snuggles. We can't wait to see her amazing toothy smile as she brings toys to us or lays down exposing her belly for rubs.

This past winter when we first met Sydney, we also met her brother Charlie and cared for them both. Unfortunately, we said our goodbyes to this sweet ol' puppy man after he crossed the rainbow bridge. We love them both and miss seeing him so much that we had to mention him here too. Rest easy, Charlie! Sydney seems to be handling things okay on her own now, but we're glad we get to visit her and keep her company during the day. Sydney always brings the sunshine.
