🐾 Winona 🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Winona! This sweet senior mixed breed pup is over 15 years old and wears a lightly greying black coat. She shares her home with the fun love of all her pet siblings, several kitties and another dog too - still outnumbered four to one! We love visiting the whole crew!! She's roaming free in her home and is excited for visitors and their loving care. Laura, Debbie, and Amy have the fortune of seeing Win and the crew most often in recent visits. Her owners have selected our 45 minute home care visits when needed between morning and evening. When we see her twice in a day, it's comforting to owners and staff alike to track her energy levels as she steps into the yard or digs into her meal with a healthy appetite. From time to time, Captain Flosse Dog's crew assists with calling the vet and assisting with coordinating any extra care and transportation.

Visits with Winona and the crew start with the dogs heading outside to potty before scrambling back in for their own tasty dinner. Winona's meal gets special treatment with her medications and highly appetizing home-cooked toppers. She takes her meds very easily. We also care for her changing needs as she ages using the owner's provided doggy diapers. After dinner during meal clean-up, Win and Rey get a bit more yard time to do a little more sniffing and leisurely exploring in the fresh air. They return for some more TLC with all the cats. What a slice of heaven!
