Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Dusty! He’s a handsome fellow — a mix that includes part Australian shepherd. This cutie sports a golden brown coat, darker on top, with white accents on the chest and belly. He will be 3 years old soon. Scroll on to read more Dusty!

Dusty's owners utilize Capt Flosse Dog's 30 minute dog walk as needed to give him a great break for stretching his legs and pottying. They schedule our extended overnight visits for short trips, too. Mostly we provide care through taking him on nice walks in the neighborhood, and keeping an eye on factors like the outside temperature and any kind of precipitation - Dusty isn't a fan of getting wet. Instead of being in the rain or especially avoiding extreme temps, he's just as excited to play indoors. Our staff that sees him the most are Sarah, Ryan, and Jess.

Dusty loves to play! He is rarely seen without some ball or frisbee. Another favorite: Dusty loves ice cubes. He is super friendly with people and a little bit excited around other dogs. He has done really well with one-on-one training for walking beautifully on a leash and sitting for a treat when passing another dog. If you pass him by, stop and say hi to this friendly guy!
