Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Gizmo! This playful 2 year old pug just shines in his light tan coat with black accents. He and his doggy cousin are some recent additions to the Captain. Let’s take a closer look at Gizmo!

We get to visit Gizmo "Giz" and Lilith "Lil" whenever the owners need an extra hand covering their care while family is away. Their owners have selected our 15-20 minute stop-in visit which suits Gizmo and Lilith really well for breaking up the work day. We try keeping Gizmo's routine with afternoon potty breaks and playtime, too. Debbie and Amy have known Gizmo right from the start and look forward to deepening the bonds we have just started at the next opportunity.

Every great Gizmo visit starts out by greeting the wiggling pups and heading into the spacious yard for them to do their business and stretch their legs. They tend to keep each other company all around the lawn, wrestling and playing, and taking care of dog business, one of the most important: sniffing! Gizmo has also shown us his playfulness and adventurous spirit -- he's taken a path less traveled a couple of times before we decided to use the leash or keep it handy lest he find another gap in the fence! This clever boy kept us on our toes, and we can't wait to visit him again!
