Put your paws together to celebrate our pet of the week, Louie! This 5-year-old Aussie shepherd and pug mix is an adorable, sociable fellow with tufted ears and a very welcoming floofy tail. His adorable face is full of character to match his amusing personality we experience each visit. Keep scrolling for more Louie!

Our staff get to take Louie on a 20-minute dog walk a few times each week to give him a chance to stretch his legs and if needed, a meal. Louie's family usually leaves feeding instructions for Louie's care. Laura, Sarah, and Suzi are lucky enough to see Louie most frequently. Our staff sometimes chimes in about his style, noting Louie has distinct vibes before and after eating! Who can blame a cute little guy feeling hangry?

Louie is very social and excited about other dogs. He loves to sniff very deliberately as he meanders around the block, checking his pee-mails. His mail carrier is one of his favorite people: she leaves Louie treats in the mailbox!! Aside from his social bubble outside the home, this guy loves to perch where he can look out of the window and observe the neighborhood. When he's ready to chill out or have fun, he's got some great toys and socks to carry around the house. His good behavior for his walkies and doing his business is rewarded with a tasty peanut buttery treat. Yummy!
