🐾 Sqiggles 🐾

Put your paws together to celebrate our pet of the week, Squiggles! This playful pup celebrated his first birthday this autumn. Squiggles is a Shih-poo mix in a stylishly adorable red color with white patches. He has a dog-sister, Snickers. Let's scroll on down and get to know Squiggles!

Squiggles' family keeps busy with a bit of traveling for both work and play, so the Captain lends a hand with a variety of home visits and our super extended overnights. He and big sister Snickers get cared for with close supervision for playtime, feeding, walking, and anything else needed. Sarah, Alex, and Heather have cared for Squiggles and Snickers most frequently this season.

He might be the closest we've seen in recent visits to having a teddy bear for a dog, but plays a little rougher and is still learning to be snuggly. He's also known to skip the flirting and go right to doing that dance and we just have to laugh at his dedication and enthusiastic love for his toys.

We have had the great honor and joy to witness Squiggles growing! Our visits to this household have covered a lot of changes from crating to opened up space, from being carried outside to taking big boy walks. Despite so much, this character still likes to act like he's not able to jump up on the couch and will wait with puppy eyes asking you to pick him up. No problem, cutie!!
