🐾 Mikey 🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Mikey! This tuxedo-wearing kitty is nearly 7 years old. He's extremely sociable and playful, greeting us by rolling around amongst his toys, meowing all the while. Scroll on to explore more about sweet Mikey!

Mikey's family always puts in the sweetest service requests when they head out of town, using his voice to ask for his visits! It's so heartwarming! Mikey does make us feel right at home being his buddy for our stop-in checks. At each 30 minute home visit performed once a day, Captain Flosse covers all the tasks: feeding, watering, scooping the litterbox, and of course, playing and petting. Jessie, Jayme, and Sarah have loved getting to see this fancy guy in his tux!

We adore seeing Mikey attack feathers on a wand or kick at his big dill pickle toy. He also gets very nice backyard views of all the birds, squirrels, and other woodland creatures. Mikey is typically in the house by himself, but sometimes a kitty cousin pops by for a visit, too. We once had a little scare and a mystery when seeing Mikey; he didn't seem to be eating or using his litter. Secretly, he was pigging out on his cousin's chow that he had broken into, and using her litter too! We were all immensely relieved that he wasn't ill after all. Luckily he didn't get anybody too worried; he was still acting like his goofy, playful self! A touch of mischief is always better than illness. Healthy boy Mikey is just full of surprises -- and love. Sometimes Mikey plays hard and gets "spicy" when attacking toys and nearby hands. He's an unstoppable creature having fun and looking so sharp.
