🐾 Sadie 🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Sadie! She's a very lovely beagle mix wearing a smooth tan and white coat. This faithful companion is nearly 12 years old, and she still lives for the chase of the ball. Want to keep scrolling?? Ready, Set, Sadie!

Sadie's owners selected our 30 minute dog walk, which fits Sadie's routine really well. She lives amidst a few streets that see a lot of foot (and paw) traffic. It’s the perfect fit to head out around the block. Alex, Nathaniel, and Ryan have had the good fortune to see her the most in recent visits. Our staff has noted some really fun things they love about her: She picks a new adventure every single time we walk – “I don’t think I have walked the same way with her more than one time so far,” says Sarah S. Others comment on how easygoing and friendly she is, rolling in the grass all cute and saying hi to workers on the street. The way her ears fly everywhere is another adorable factor that's just irresistable. Looks AND personality? You bet!!

While Sadie loves her walks to investigate the neighborhood, becoming especially excited to see people on lawns or sidewalks, she is a bit hesitant with other dogs. She does a lot of a whimpering sounds, crying, and can bark a bit, too. She likes a running commentary on the world she observes. To minimize any distress or discomfort she has, we simply avoid having any doggo interactions while on our walks. You might see us hide behind a car or scurry in the opposite direction, start an extra lap of the route, or just move quite quickly. Usually once the other dog is out of sight, she’s feeling better, confident, and not anxious or agitated. She goes back to being calm and easygoing again. It looks like we have another contender for a sweet Valentine!
