🐾 Schyler 🐾

Put your paws together for our pet of the week, Schyler! Otherwise known as Shy-ler, this black cat is a wee bit skittish, but he's a total sweetheart once he warms up. He loves to play and catch treats! He's kept company with a sister kitty, Ilona. Keep scrolling to get to know Schyler!

Schyler is all black with just a teensy spot of white below his collar. His whole style serves as excellent camouflage! Our shy guy likes to hide under blanket forts with loads of pillows and airy sheets, but that cat curiosity very quickly gets the best of him. He soon ventured out to meet his new friends. Other than a little bit of patience to earn trust, his care routine is straight-forward with feeding/watering, medications, and a clean litterbox. He is given medication at the same time every morning, just before eating. He has the option to graze on dry food between well-prepared meals. His family has chosen our 1-hour pet care home visit to care for Schyler and Ilona not only for their dietary needs, but plenty of playtime for mental and physical stimulation, too. Sarah, Laura, and Jaden have the pleasure of knowing them most closely and coaxing Shy-guy out of his shell.

As a fairly skittish guy, Schyler is very afraid of loud noises and quick movements. It definitely takes him a little while to warm up to new acquaintances, too, but he seemed to have an easy time getting closer with our staff. Since he is treat-motivated, it didn't take long to gain some trust. He especially loves to catch treats thrown to him. Schyler loves to play!! He also loves to be brushed and told what a good boy and how handsome he is. Sounds like he connects with several love languages! Would you be our Valentine?
